Conference Dinner-Tuesday, 20 July 2010-7:00 PM (19:00)
US $ 75.00/per person
The Conference Dinner will be held in the Canada Room at Queen's University. There will be a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian menu available. The non-vegetarian menu will begin with a Red Pepper Bavarois with a palate cleanser of Champagne Sorbet before the main entree: Supreme of Guinea Fowl with wild mushrooms and rosemary. The meal will end with Chocolate and Irish Cream Mousse topped with a Vanilla Chantilly. The meal will end with tea and coffee. The entire meal includes red and white wine.
The vegetarian menu will include fresh fruits and vegetables that are in-season and will be cooked in a way to compliment the rest of the meal.

Your Tour(s) may be added during the registration process in the registration area. However, if you have already registered and now wish to add the dinner or the tour, please email the Conference Secretariat at this link with your request.
After your original registration, payment for additional accommodations, dinners and/or tours will be charged to the credit card that we have on file for you. If you prefer that an alternate card be charged, please submit the new card number when submitting your amended booking request.
Introduction to Belfast Tour:
Beginning from Queen’s University, this tour tells the story of Belfast as it developed around the High Street. The story begins in 1611 when James I chartered the settlement. This tour includes visits to such landmarks as Belfast City Hall, St. George’s Church, the Albert Memorial Clock, St. Anne’s Cathedral, Grand Opera House, Crown Liquor Saloon, Ulster Hall, and much more.

Start Location: Queen’s University Visitor’s Centre.
End Location: Belfast City Centre (feel free to ask the conference staff for taxi suggestions or make your own way back to the University – perhaps after enjoying dinner in the heart of Belfast!)
Cost: $20 per person
Belfast Political Tour
Hosted by a former political prisoner from the Republican community, we travel through a main arterial route in west Belfast, visiting many sites that are relevant to the most recent phase of the British/Irish conflict. As the tour is delivered by primary sources it is very much a living history. At the end of the tour we invite you to join us for a complimentary glass of Guinness at a nearby pub.
Tour Type: Local Taxi plus walking.

Start Time: 6:00pm
Start Location: Queen’s University Visitor’s Centre where taxis will be waiting.
End Location: Falls Road Area of Belfast. (feel free to ask the conference staff for taxi suggestions or make your own way back to the University – perhaps after enjoying dinner in the heart of Belfast!)
Cost: $25 per person
Belfast Pub Tour
No visit to Belfast would be complete without a trip around its famous and historic pubs! The hospitality of Belfast city and its people is legendary and there’s no better way to enjoy the ‘craic’ and the banter with the locals than over a few drinks. Each pub tour features six pubs and we stop in a couple for a drink. At the end of the tour, you can head back to the University or explore downtown Belfast on your own.

Start Location: Queen’s University Visitor’s Centre where there will be cabs waiting.
